SpK steel rebar or Special K rebar is from the cold tool tool family. Spk steel rebar is also named with the standard numbers 1.2080 and X2 10Cr12.

SPK steels are also known as high carbon alloy steels. SPK rebar has a high hardness for cooling with oil or air and has good stability during heat treatment. SPK steel is sensitive to rapid and irregular heating.

Amutit steel Amutit is known as a cutting and abrasion resistant steel.

This type of steel is used in the manufacture of long length parts in machines and vehicles that require high strength, high tensile strength, flexibility and high failure resistance. For example, parts such as; Crankshafts, non-centrifugal axles, toothed components and parts, shafts related to the cement industry, car chassis and disc plate.

Some applications of Spk steel rebar:

The use of this steel in the manufacture of cutting blades, drilling tools, punching and scaling molds, and in general, tools with which cold forming is performed.

Steel rebar SPK – Special rebar k

This rebar is also used in the preparation of rollers for forming and sizing profile production lines, hot and cold drawing molds, deep and bending tension, cold rolling machines and ceramic and powder forming molds.

Spk steel rebar is generally known as a high hardness steel. This steel has an acceptable wear resistance due to its high chromium (Cr).

Heat treatment of Spk rebar is usually done at 930 ° C for hardening (fergote).

By making small differences in the basic elements of steel and adding elements such as vanadium and tungsten to it, Spk R and Spk NL rebars are produced, each of which, in addition to high hardness and wear resistance, have special properties.

Spk R rebar is named with the standard number 1.2436 and Spk NL steel with the standard number 1.2379.
