Marine studs

Studs have a U-shaped cross section and are called U-Channel in English.

The dimensions and size of UNP (studs) depend on their type. These dimensions are:

Wing height Is denoted by the letter h
Thickness Is denoted by the letter ts
Wing width Is denoted by the letter b
Wing thickness Is denoted by the letter tg
Cross section Is denoted by the letter A
Weight per meter Is denoted by the letter G
Gravity axis distance Is denoted by the letter ez
Cutting center distance Is denoted by the letter YM

Marine studs

Grade A marine studs, A36 and Gl-A studs are produced with U-shaped cross section and high quality level.

Marine studs are generally manufactured and supplied by foreign companies.

Marine studs, like the corner of the sea described in a separate section, reach the minimum percentage of destructive elements in steel (sulfur and phosphorus less than 0.035) after a few melting steps. This gutter has a high resistance to salt and open water salts and is naturally used in marine, shipbuilding and wharf industries.

For example, the dimensions of UNP 40 are equal to:

h = 40mm / ts = 5mm / b = 35mm / tg = 7mm / A = 6.21cm2 / G = 4.87 kg / m
/ ez = 1.33 cm / YM = 2.32
