U Bolt is a two-way screw that is known for its resemblance to the Latin letter U. These bolts are primarily used to support water and gas pipes. The size of this type of bolt is produced in different sizes according to the intended application, such as pipe diameter.

In measuring the diameter of bolts for production or use, the diameter of the bolt refers to the inside (nested) diameter of the bolts.

U-bolts are defined by four characteristics:
